Function

When both electromagnet couplings are de-energized, the fan rotates at up to 100 RPM. When clutch 1 is switched-in, a contact- and wear-free eddy current system is actuated, causing the fan to rotate at up to 1.200 RPM. When clutch 2 is switched-in, the fan rotates synchronously with the drive pulley.


		3-SPEED FAN CLUTCHES ARE NORMALLY USED IN STANDARD CLIMATE CONDITIONS WHERE NO COOLING REQUIREMENT EXISTS FOR A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF THE RUNNING TIME (APPR. 80 %).
