Electromagnetic fan clutches

Big fans need strong clutches

Electromagnetic clutches allow zero slippage and efficient
operation of cooling fans. Our 3-speed clutches can be
mounted directly to the crankshaft, they can also be integrated
in a bracket. Fans up to 813 mm and torques > 200 Nm can be
engaged/disengaged within 0.5 s. The robust bearings can deal
with the tough operating conditions in modern heavy duty trucks.
